How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year suits most homes, in late autumn once the leaves are down and again in spring. Properties under heavy tree cover often need more.
Do you flush the downspouts too?
Yes. Clearing the gutter and leaving a blocked downspout achieves very little, so we flush the downspouts and check that the discharge runs clear of the foundation.
What do you do with the debris?
We bag it and haul it away. Nothing is left in your beds or at the kerb.
